Venice, Italy: The MOST Romantic city in the world!

Venice, Italy. The capital city of the world for ROMANCE!

Recently I celebrated my birthday in Venice with the man I adore and love... he made the day so incredibly special for me. I've added a short video for you to experience the sensation of the BEAUTIFUL city.

Venice, the city floating on water. Gondola rides. Gelati. Romance. It is an AMAZING city! The added beauty is it's clear air and skies. No cars in the city of Venice.... walking and boats only. The lack of air and noise pollution really shifts the experience into the field of extraordinary... enjoy!

These last few weeks have gone by in a blur! For the last month I've traveled via campervan through Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, Germany and now Italy. I've been here in Italy for ten days, and I am incredulous - "already?!"

Internet access is not as easily accessible for me on this trip. The site-seeing has been the priority, with the odd bi-weekly stop at a cafe and checking in with email. The internet signal is sporadic. Sometimes great. Sometimes weak. Just like the flow of life, right?

I take this as a 'sign' to focus on the opportunity to be even more reflective. Life is amazing! Sometimes it's even easier to pay attention to the smaller details of life, and the bigger picture, when the regular distractions are removed.

Traveling, especially outside your own country, away from your social and cultural conditioning, really helps you reflect on what is important to YOU. I highly recommend and encourage you to step into your dreams and travel to the places you may have only wished to experience.

Extensive travel is much easier than you think. And certainly a lot less expensive than you might expect. If you're willing to be open to creative ways to travel and explore, it is possible to travel (and for a length of time) ...when you know how.

Would you like to know what has been one of the most influential books I've read ..to create the life I am now living? ...click here...

Timothy Ferris wrote "The 4-Hour Work Week".

I read this book for the first time almost three years ago. I remember thinking to myself at the time, "Thank God someone else thinks like me!"

Back then, I had painted the vision of how I am NOW living my life, to many work associates (and even my ex-husband). At the time, the responses I received to my "overly-optimistic" vision included a lot of discouragement and "you can't do that!"

I am living proof, amongst many of the 'New Rich' ...that you can!

Living life on YOUR terms requires a paradigm shift in thinking. And Ferris's "The 4-Hour Work Week" is a great 'one stop shop' to awaken your senses and insight to what is totally possible.

Live life on YOUR terms.. Live your dreams.. Live with Authenticity

Schloss Neuschwanstein

Schloss Neuschwanstein - Bavaria, Germany "is a 19th-century Bavarian palace on a rugged hill near Hohenschwangau and Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as an homage to Richard Wagner, the King's inspiring muse. Although public photography of the interior is not permitted,[1] it is the most photographed building in Germany and is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations.[2]" (Wikipedia)

The journey here has been worth the miles traveled.
Schloss Neuschwanstein is a sensational beauty nestled into a mountain, surrounded by dense forest. The earth's energy calm and soothing to the spirit.

From the mountain-top, the view over the landscape of the lake and farming area is stunning: lifting the spirit to greater heights with the breath-taking view.

The tour through the Schloss Neuschwanstein
castle (Schloss is German for 'castle') is a bargain at €18 (Adult Ticket). (Hot Tip: make sure you purchase the ticket for Schloss Neuschwanstein at the bottom of the hill, or you will limit yourself to an external (and free) tour of the castle grounds).

The tour of
Schloss Neuschwanstein is an extravagant sight of elegance, vision, beauty and splendor. The multitudes of rooms, expansively rolling through the castle with never-ending eye-catching detail to King Ludwig II's determination to express his passion for swans, exquisite details carved in wood, mosaic artwork in the flooring of the 'Throne Room', and artwork flooding the walls with mythical tales of dragon-slaying, love, and kingdom's.

You can choose to walk up (and down) the mountain following a trail, or catch a bus for €2.60 one way. We paid for two-ways and learned that the final bus from the top of
Schloss Neuschwanstein is at 18:45 hours - which was 15 minutes prior to our arrival back at the bus bay at the end of our late tour.

An enforced hike down the mountain became a beautiful gift to experience the scenic trail. We met new friends on the way down. An American family on tour in Germany celebrating life: their son's graduation and their 26th Wedding Anniversary next month. Their beautiful seventeen year old daughter also celebrated with love as her radiance glowed. This family was a gift for the day - an opportunity to experience unity, love and joy.

Schloss Neuschwanstein is a wonderful expression of vision, magic, beauty and a grandeur life. This castle has appeared in several movies, and was the inspiration for the 'Sleeping Beauty Castle' at both the Disneyland Park and Hong Kong Disneyland, and of course, featured in the famous movie "Chitty Chitty Bang! Bang!"

There are several opportunities in
Schloss Neuschwanstein (Castle) to purchase many wonderful gifts and souvenirs for yourself and others. For your convenience I have done some research and now you too can benefit from these beautiful items. Attached is the link below for you to click through now.

Canon 40d camera: Capturing magic Moments

Canon 40D camera. Perfect pictures every time. Whilst I’ve been traveling the world these last 14 months (now going on 15!) I have taken thousands of photos. I began with my humble Canon EOS 350 (which I used for 3 years). It did a terrific job.

Like any fresh experience, such as test driving a brand new car, I realized I wanted the bells and whistles and quality of photos that comes with the newer, bigger model.

Of course, since the Canon 40D (which I upgraded to for Christmas last December) there are newer models available. The 50D, the Canon Mark 1, and now Mark 2. I personally haven’t ‘test driven’ these yet, and hesitating a little for now, as I know once I try them I will want to upgrade again.

Not yet. Soon!

The Canon 40D camera is one of my prized possessions. For me, life is about the magic moments we live on a daily basis. I love to capture them into images, symbolic of the memory in a simple but profound photograph. After all, a picture says a thousand words.

I am often asked about my travels, what do I experience? What do I see? Where is my favorite location? How do I capture such great photos? What camera do I use?

Well now you know. I favor and use the Canon 40D camera. It is an awesome professional camera and has easy features for the ‘amateur-pro’ photographer also!

As for my favorite experiences?

For capturing ice magic, the place on the planet is Antarctica! The whale shots I have captured there are extraordinary. The Canon 40D allows me to capture 13 frames in 2 seconds. That’s a lot of pics to capture a whale breaching, or ‘fluking’ (tail-span shots before they dive).

Other favorite locations and experiences include Argentina. It has wonderful street life, and photographing people in everyday action was a highlight; The volcanic activity of Hawaii, shot from a helicopter whilst hovering over the Big Island enthralled me; The rocky mountains of Arizona were also captured on my Canon 40D camera; as were the lakes and alps of Switzerland.

If the Canon 40D has been on your dream list or vision board, what are you waiting for? When would now be a great time to invest in a quality camera to capture YOUR magic memories of life?

p.s. The prices have never been better than they are now. The Canon 40D camera is now better value for money than I paid 7 months ago. Here is a link for your convenience...

Blessing

Blessings. Do you count your own?

Recently whilst on a trip to Arizona, I stayed with some great friends for an extra few days after a conference. Patrick and Lisa shared their home and life with me for two days.

Staying with them was a magnificent blessing enhanced by the opportunity to share in one of Lisa's field of contribution. She helps to support a local mission in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Lisa introduced me to Didi, a woman with a big heart and a BIG mission to help women.

Enjoy the short video. Didi & Lisa, share their mission for Blessings Boutique: Women helping to provide hope to women in crisis.
