Schloss Neuschwanstein

Schloss Neuschwanstein - Bavaria, Germany "is a 19th-century Bavarian palace on a rugged hill near Hohenschwangau and Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. The palace was commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as an homage to Richard Wagner, the King's inspiring muse. Although public photography of the interior is not permitted,[1] it is the most photographed building in Germany and is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations.[2]" (Wikipedia)

The journey here has been worth the miles traveled.
Schloss Neuschwanstein is a sensational beauty nestled into a mountain, surrounded by dense forest. The earth's energy calm and soothing to the spirit.

From the mountain-top, the view over the landscape of the lake and farming area is stunning: lifting the spirit to greater heights with the breath-taking view.

The tour through the Schloss Neuschwanstein
castle (Schloss is German for 'castle') is a bargain at €18 (Adult Ticket). (Hot Tip: make sure you purchase the ticket for Schloss Neuschwanstein at the bottom of the hill, or you will limit yourself to an external (and free) tour of the castle grounds).

The tour of
Schloss Neuschwanstein is an extravagant sight of elegance, vision, beauty and splendor. The multitudes of rooms, expansively rolling through the castle with never-ending eye-catching detail to King Ludwig II's determination to express his passion for swans, exquisite details carved in wood, mosaic artwork in the flooring of the 'Throne Room', and artwork flooding the walls with mythical tales of dragon-slaying, love, and kingdom's.

You can choose to walk up (and down) the mountain following a trail, or catch a bus for €2.60 one way. We paid for two-ways and learned that the final bus from the top of
Schloss Neuschwanstein is at 18:45 hours - which was 15 minutes prior to our arrival back at the bus bay at the end of our late tour.

An enforced hike down the mountain became a beautiful gift to experience the scenic trail. We met new friends on the way down. An American family on tour in Germany celebrating life: their son's graduation and their 26th Wedding Anniversary next month. Their beautiful seventeen year old daughter also celebrated with love as her radiance glowed. This family was a gift for the day - an opportunity to experience unity, love and joy.

Schloss Neuschwanstein is a wonderful expression of vision, magic, beauty and a grandeur life. This castle has appeared in several movies, and was the inspiration for the 'Sleeping Beauty Castle' at both the Disneyland Park and Hong Kong Disneyland, and of course, featured in the famous movie "Chitty Chitty Bang! Bang!"

There are several opportunities in
Schloss Neuschwanstein (Castle) to purchase many wonderful gifts and souvenirs for yourself and others. For your convenience I have done some research and now you too can benefit from these beautiful items. Attached is the link below for you to click through now.
