Shine Bright, Star Light!

Shine Bright, Star Light!

Glow as you take flight.
Spread your wings, and loudly cheer,
Let the world know YOU are here!

Believe, Become, Bestow
And most importantly GLOW.
Spread your message of love and peace,
OWN your place, and no longer lease!

Pretend no more. Be the ONE.
Declare, "My life is WON!"
Announce, "I live to love, laugh and light up all the while,
Leading first with the BIGGEST Smile..."

Random Acts of Kindness

Random acts of kindness are essentially an act of expression towards ourselves. We see someone in need and we recognize, like looking in a mirror, that "it could possibly be me in need."

With each and every simple act of reaching out and giving a helping hand, we plant seeds of greatness into our own heart as well as the ones of those you directly (and indirectly) affect.

There is also the compounding effect you may never see or witness directly.. but know that it occurs.

Like any great tree which has grown from a seed, when given love, care and nurturing, it will grow into a healthy tower of strength, abundant with leaves and plenty of shade to then protect and nurture other beings...

So too occurs with your random acts of kindness. The energy you give manifests into the lives of so many others.

Today, on my way to the supermarket to gather some basic ingredients for lunch, I passed a lonely man sitting huddled on the street corner near the store. As I entered into the shopping centre and made my way through the turn-style of the grocery market, I spied another man (this time with his small dog) also sitting outside the second entrance, quietly alone and ruffled in his difficult moment in time.

Both had caps gently laid out on the pavement to quietly ask for some pennies as you walk past.

I thought about what I could really offer them of VALUE. I had only taken enough Euro to the store to buy what I needed. And yet, in my heart, I knew I could make a difference to both these gentleman's lives....

"How can I serve them in a way to nourish their souls?" I thought.

With the small change I had left in my pocket, I bought several large bottles of water. I turned 54 cents into two valuable gifts.

Quietly I walked up to each man, now sitting in the warm heat of the Spanish mid-day sun.

With a smile I offered a bottle of water to each man. Each man in turn lit up with a SMILE of Gratitude.

One said "Gracias".. the other said "Thank You!" Both sent their love and kindness back to me through the energy of the heart connection.

I walked away, heading back to my apartment, pondering to myself... how will I generate even more love and kindness in this world tomorrow? Who's heart will I touch next?

And the truth is.. for each random act of kindness I make, the bigger MY heart grows..

What random act of kindness will you do today? Perhaps even a smile at a stranger, or a kind word or compliment, a bottle of water or a sandwich to a homeless person? Perhaps a friendly act for a neighbor in need?

...Remember too... to give yourself and loved ones random acts of kindness regularly also! :o)

Inspirational messages in Florence, Italy

Inspirational message. From Florence, Italy.

Be INSPIRED by these beautiful images and inspirational messages to encourage you to live the life of YOUR dreams. YOUR Passion. Design YOUR life.

I've been touring Europe by camper van now for the last month and am having a blast. I'm inspired by the history of Europe and the energy that emanates from the earth here is connecting deeply with my soul.

Being an adventurer and a 'Global Butterfly' I have now been touring the world for 27 months. That's not a typo. Or an exaggeration. The last 15 of those months I have been in 'mini-retirement' having replaced my earned income as a Paramedic with a passive income. And whilst traveling, I've DOUBLED THAT within a year of quitting my job! It's been a conscious decision, and one I actually made many years ago. It's also been an incredible journey including every continent except Africa - so far!

I wish to inspire and encourage you that it is absolutely possible to design your life on YOUR terms. Including how and when you get paid - passively if you design your life with this ability, so you can use your time for your highest desires.

For me: that's traveling the world, capturing magic memories through photography and video, writing, cooking (when I get the use of a 'cucina' (kitchen) facilities), exploring, meeting people and just having a series of great laughs ....every single day.

I consider my life as a blessing, with deep gratitude.

I was not born into a family with a silver spoon in my mouth. Far from it. Bless my parents, but money was more often scarce than immediately available (that was the conditioning and illusion).

Possibly, like you, I often heard responses to my 'fun' requests (let alone the bigger dreams) of "money doesn't grow on trees," "What?! do you think I'm made of money?" and many other 'false illusions'.. these are only conditioned thoughts!

Thoughts repeated create BELIEFS. Beliefs determine your actions. Your actions determine your RESULTS.
What are you consistently thinking about?

With the opportunity to live my life on my terms, by CONSCIOUSLY creating and designing it to my speculations, comes a personal responsibility to teach you how I did it. I am now working on several projects to not only inspire you (and me), but also help you leverage your life to understand and connect with the personal empowerment you too can access.

Thought I'd share a FANTASTIC book by Timothy Ferris - "The 4-Hour Work Week" that has been a huge influence and empowering factor to shift my life from the '9-5' realm (or in my case 10-hour and 14-hour shifts) to the global traveler with passive income that is my life today.... automate your life!

Venice, Italy: The MOST Romantic city in the world!

Venice, Italy. The capital city of the world for ROMANCE!

Recently I celebrated my birthday in Venice with the man I adore and love... he made the day so incredibly special for me. I've added a short video for you to experience the sensation of the BEAUTIFUL city.

Venice, the city floating on water. Gondola rides. Gelati. Romance. It is an AMAZING city! The added beauty is it's clear air and skies. No cars in the city of Venice.... walking and boats only. The lack of air and noise pollution really shifts the experience into the field of extraordinary... enjoy!

These last few weeks have gone by in a blur! For the last month I've traveled via campervan through Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, Germany and now Italy. I've been here in Italy for ten days, and I am incredulous - "already?!"

Internet access is not as easily accessible for me on this trip. The site-seeing has been the priority, with the odd bi-weekly stop at a cafe and checking in with email. The internet signal is sporadic. Sometimes great. Sometimes weak. Just like the flow of life, right?

I take this as a 'sign' to focus on the opportunity to be even more reflective. Life is amazing! Sometimes it's even easier to pay attention to the smaller details of life, and the bigger picture, when the regular distractions are removed.

Traveling, especially outside your own country, away from your social and cultural conditioning, really helps you reflect on what is important to YOU. I highly recommend and encourage you to step into your dreams and travel to the places you may have only wished to experience.

Extensive travel is much easier than you think. And certainly a lot less expensive than you might expect. If you're willing to be open to creative ways to travel and explore, it is possible to travel (and for a length of time) ...when you know how.

Would you like to know what has been one of the most influential books I've read ..to create the life I am now living? ...click here...

Timothy Ferris wrote "The 4-Hour Work Week".

I read this book for the first time almost three years ago. I remember thinking to myself at the time, "Thank God someone else thinks like me!"

Back then, I had painted the vision of how I am NOW living my life, to many work associates (and even my ex-husband). At the time, the responses I received to my "overly-optimistic" vision included a lot of discouragement and "you can't do that!"

I am living proof, amongst many of the 'New Rich' ...that you can!

Living life on YOUR terms requires a paradigm shift in thinking. And Ferris's "The 4-Hour Work Week" is a great 'one stop shop' to awaken your senses and insight to what is totally possible.

Live life on YOUR terms.. Live your dreams.. Live with Authenticity

:o) xx Katie

Blessing

Blessings. Do you count your own?

Recently whilst on a trip to Arizona, I stayed with some great friends for an extra few days after a conference. Patrick and Lisa shared their home and life with me for two days.

Staying with them was a magnificent blessing enhanced by the opportunity to share in one of Lisa's field of contribution. She helps to support a local mission in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Lisa introduced me to Didi, a woman with a big heart and a BIG mission to help women.

Enjoy the short video. Didi & Lisa, share their mission for Blessings Boutique: Women helping to provide hope to women in crisis.
